About Oku-Yuki Countryside Experience Village
Oku-Yuki Countryside Experience Village is about an hour’s drive from Hiroshima City.
This collection of 5 lodging facilities is located in the Kamitada area of Kumode, the westernmost tip of Yuki Town.
Here, you can rent both traditional Japanese-style houses and fashionable, renovated houses.
At its peak, Kumode was home to over 80 people. Now only three elderly folks live here.
The locals have improved these facilities to revive their town of Kumode.
It is their hope that many people will come experience the charm of the countryside.
